On May 31, 2019, at the same time in all regions of Ukraine in the central streets or park areas, stadiums and other places, an annual All-Ukrainian physical culture and recreation event was held among students – a track and field race at a distance of 1 mile / 1609 meters, which also coincided with the closing of the XIV summer Universiade of Ukraine. Our academy did not stand aside. On May 31, in the Victory Park, 20 young men and girls of the Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies joined the “Mile of Students” All-Ukrainian Athletic and Health Event. The event is traditional and is held in order to form a healthy lifestyle and attract students to regular physical education and sports, increase the level of physical activity of students and promote health, promote and further develop physical education and sports among students of Ukraine, as well as the rise of Olympic values ​​and ideals of sport.
